What is an Impact Hub?
An Impact Hub is: 1. a vibrant community of passionate and entrepreneurial people who share an underlying intention to bring about positive change, 2. a source of inspiration that provides meaningful content through thought-provoking events, innovation labs, learning spaces, programs and facilitated conversations that support positive impact, 3. a physical space that offers a flexible and highly functional infrastructure to work, meet, learn and connect. We believe the magic happens where these three elements intersect.

What does Impact Hub do?
Around the world, we inspire, connect and enable humans to drive change. As a network, we aim to accelerate the transition to a more green and just world. While climate action and equality are our key focus areas at a global level, we work to tackle all challenges outlined in the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovation.
We bring together the entrepreneurs and changemakers, corporate organizations and public institutions.
Entrepreneurs join our community to scale their business and impact, to enjoy peer-to-peer learning and networking – and for an inspiring place to work. Become a member.
We support innovative corporate organizations in scaling up innovation, running startup programs and engaging their employees.
We work with forward-thinking public institutions to build bridges between entrepreneurs, innovators and the public sector and develop policies in support of more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Which areas does Impact Hub New York Metropolitan Area support?
The New York Metropolitan Area is far bigger than the five boroughs – more than 22 million people are living from Princeton to New Haven – representing a 1.7 trillion-dollar regional economy. We supports all of the neighborhoods in between and magnify the progress of the ecosystem by spearheading the integration of impact-driven talent and resources of smaller cities and towns with the regional core.
Who can join the Impact Hub?
We support a range of constituents involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Metropolitan Area. This includes, but is not limited to: aspiring & existing entrepreneurs; innovators and social changemakers; non-profit leaders; impact and angel investors; philanthropic and corporate partners; students; creatives; and so on. Not sure if it’s a fit? Get in touch and we’re happy to discuss.

What are the SDGs and why is Impact Hub aligned with them?
The Sustainable Development Goals are a list of 17 key concepts and issue areas that the United Nations has identified as integral to the future health of our planet and those who inhabit it. In support of this mission, Impact Hub has aligned its work with the SDGs, as we share the same vision for a more equitable and just future. We believe that the interconnected nature of these goals complement the work of our global community of changemakers and the vision we all have for the years to come.
