As part of an initiative we led alongside Impact Hub Accra, co-created with African Women in Technology and Baobab Consulting, Building an African Innovation Ecosystem in New York was a UNGA side event, as part of our Impact State of Mind Conference.

The event highlighted leading Africa-focused innovators from both sides of the Atlantic, with the hope of catalyzing collaborations and exchange between Africa-focused entrepreneurs, African diaspora, and others passionate about connecting to African innovation ecosystems. We held vibrant discussions about the opportunities of doing business and creating impact between New York and African markets, as well as special sessions in remote work, health innovation, women entrepreneurs.

The event was in collaboration with Maakola, the African Health Innovation Centre, Africa Future Summit, Global Startup Ecosystem, and Item13, and many more!
